Frankie & Louies is about 10 minutes by both car and boat (around the corner almost in a no-wake cove). This lakefront bar&grill is modeled after a Key West theme. It has a full menu and a large, sandy beach that is fun for both kids and adults alike. We enjoy swimming here because they trucked in tons of sand and the lake bottom is sand, not mud! Our favorite is the thin crust pizza and frozen drinks. Since it is right around the corner, it is also the ideal place to rent a tritoon. https://www.frankieandlouies.c...

Paradise Tropical Bar - This is about 7 minutes by car or a 13 mile boat ride. This spot has delicious food and big views of a busy part of the lake. www.paradiseatthelake.com
Lake House 13 - This is a fun lake front bar and grill that has good food. It is about 10 minutes by car and 3 miles by boat. www.lakehouse13.com

Pointe Oasis is a fun gas dock and a good place to rent tritoons and WaveRunners. If you join their discount program, you can get free ice, free koozies, and a little discount on gas. www.pointeoasis.com
Woods Supermarket - Woods is a full service grocery store that has everything you need. Fresh produce and meats. It has a quick service deli, and a pretty extensive liqor and beer section. www.woodssupermarket.com

The Cave Bar is a fun new hotspot that has a swim up bar that extends into a cave. There are adults around enjoying beverages and music playing but unlike some lakeside venues Cave Bar has a pretty relaxed vibe and it is very family friendly. Kids (and adults) love to swim into the natural cave and relax. The food is pretty good and our favorite frozen drink is the Cocobango, with a Crown Royal Peach floater. It is about 15 minutes away by car but it would be a very long boat ride. www.cavebar.com
Marijuana is legal for both medical and recreational use in Missouri. Revolution Dispensary has all of the flower, edibles, vapes and other stuff you need to "medicate". They only accept cash and you'll need to be 21 with a driver's license. It's about 10 minutes drive by car and if you're trying to get there by boat, you're high enough already. www.revcanna.com
Please don't smoke inside the house.

Bridal Cave is the best cave I've been into. It's similar to others with stallagmites and stallagtites. It's a guided tour in a controlled environment and it's safe but it's nice because it feels like you're doing something because you have to walk on uneven surfaces and crowch down and shimmy sideways to get through some places. It's not for people in strollers or wheel chairs, but just about anyone age 3 to 80 can have a good time here. It's also a great place to visit during excessive heat or rainy weather. www.bridalcave.com
Captian Ron's is a lakefront bar and grill that has a beach and a pretty good menu. I'm pretty fond of the steak sandwich. Captian Ron's hosts the Shootout every year. It's 11 minutes by car or a pretty long boat ride. www.captianronsatthelake.com

Shady Gators | Lazy Gators | H. Toad is one of the Lake's perennial hotspots. It's a lakefront bar with multiple levels that often has live music on the weekends. It's a short boat ride away (about 3 miles on water) or about 25 minutes by car. www.shadygators.com
